Colina Ridge is being developed as a 198 unit luxury multifamily rental community under the FHA Section 221(d)(4) program. The site is located on Old Rocky Ridge Road in unincorporated Jefferson County near the Acton Road/I-459 interchange. The master plan consists of one four story (elevator-enclosed corridor) building and one three story garden style building, plus clubhouse and amenities. The site is positioned in between Hoover and Vestavia, both of which will not re-zone for apartment development creating a lack of new, Class A rental communities in these cities. The community will offer many upscale amenities and convenient access to both the Birmingham CBD and to major suburban employment and entertainment centers.
